What is stress and why is it happening to me?

Stress is the strain we feel from the pressure of the world around us. Stress is not a bad thing. A little stress is good to keep us going and stay motivated. The danger comes when we become over-stressed. Jobs, problems at home, and money troubles are just a few of the most common sources of stress. As a result, our relationships, jobs, lives, and health suffer because of it. The most common symptoms of stress and anxiety are trouble sleeping, feeling unusually tired, problems concentrating, tension, and irritability. Physical signs are difficulty breathing, upset stomach, dry mouth, sweaty hands, a racing heart, tight muscles, and frequent trips to the bathroom.

I don't want to take any stress and anxiety medications that could be addictive, what can I do?

There are many different ways of curing stress and anxiety naturally. In this article we will be going through the advantages of natural cures. The first natural cure is to EXERCISE. Exercising releases endorphins (a chemical found in our body that produces a feeling of pleasure) and is a great way to escape the troubles at work, home, and wherever else you feel stressed.

The second which goes right along with exercise is EATING HEALTHY. Stay away from fatty foods that are loaded with carbohydrates. Stick to good old fashioned veggies and organic foods.

The third cure is the STOP AND TAKE A BREAK. When you feel overwhelmed stop, take a few deep breaths, and count to ten. This can be an immense help. Simple and effective.

The fourth cure is to HAVE A GOOD OUTLOOK ON LIFE. Keep things lighthearted. Make jokes, laugh easily, and try not to sweat the small stuff. Mental training can be a fantastic way to control your stress and anxiety.

The fifth way is ALTERNATIVE CURES. Go see a massage therapist, or if your not afraid of needles, an acupuncturist. They can be great stress relievers.

The sixth way is MUSIC. Listen to some of your favorite tunes! You will be amazed at the effect it can have on your mood.

The seventh way is NATURAL HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS. All-natural supplements have been utilized for thousands of years. But only recently have doctors begun to realize that they can in fact treat and often cure a variety of health conditions. In some cases, all-natural supplements are more effective than prescription medications. Science has shown that many all-natural dietary supplements can not only treat various health conditions, but also prevent illness and promote general health and well-being. I've compiled a list of useful supplements that are safe to use and carry no risk of dependency. For the purposes of this article I will list and describe several herbal stress and anxiety relievers.

Which herbal supplement is right for me?

SEREDYN is a non-addictive supplement that uses natural items to cure stress. The main INGREDIENTS of Seredyn are L-Theanine, Passion Flower, Valerian, Niacinamide, and Magnesium Taurinate RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 1-3 times a day as needed.

MOOD AID is another natural supplement that uses St. John's Wort to treat anxiety. The main INGREDIENTS of Mood Aid are St. John's Wort, Scullcap Herb, Korean Ginseng, dried extract, L-5Hydroxytryptophan, griffonia bean extract, and Niacin. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 3 times a day with meals.

CLAROCET is much like Mood Aid in-that its main ingredient is St. John's Wort, however it differs in that it is a once daily tablet. The main INGREDIENTS of Clarocet are St. John's Wort, SAM-e (pronounced Sammy), Rhodiola Rosea, 5 HTP, and Valerian. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 1 time a day.

VILIFT is very similar to the aforementioned supplements. It too uses St. John's Wort to treat stress. The main INGREDIENTS of VILIFT are St. John's Wort, 5-HTP, Skullcap, Korean Ginseng, and a Vitamin B Complex. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 3 times a day after meals.

RELEVAX is a natural stress and anxiety reliever that is quite different from the others on this list simply due to the ingredients it uses. The main INGREDIENTS of Relevax are an Anti-Stress Blend of Chamomile (flower), Lemon balm , Rhodiola root extract, Ashwagandha root root extract, Chastetree berry standardized extract, and Wild jujube seed extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, L-Theanine, 5- Hydroxytryptophan, and Magnolia bark extract. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 1 to 2 times daily.
