In the realm of anti aging products, the neck seems to be the place where people have the most problems. Saggs and wrinkles, sun spots and extra skin seem to all be the complaints we all hear. So when you start noticing that these aging signs are starting to show, do you go for a topical neck cream or do you go for a surgery?

To know for sure which is going to be the best option for you, there is  one certain thing you are going to have to think about.

How bad is the issue you are trying to fix? For people who have just started seeing the signs of aging or they are very moderate, a topical neck cream is the perfect solution to treating the issues that go along with the neck. This is due to the fact that there is not too much damage yet to where a cream could not effectively treat the issues. Do not get me wrong, any neck cream or treatment that has the ingredients necessary to help bring back that elasticity to your skin will definitely help any issues you have, but it will not bring your neck back to what it once was. So for a precautionary measure or a when neck related issues are not so bad, do not go immediately to your doctor to have a face or neck lift, try a neck cream or treatment. A piece of advice to all of the consumers in this situation: make sure that whatever neck cream you purchase is from a company with honest ingredients and practices, it is very easy to be misled. Do your research and read the neck cream reviews on ingredients and companies, it will put you in a much better position.

Now is your neck issues are pretty severe, like if your neck has had extra skin for a few years now and it has progressively gotten worse, then a topical neck cream may not produce the best results. A little insider note: I myself am very against surgery, but if you are left with no other choice than surgery it is. Neck- lift surgery is a process along the lines of a face lift. They cut open your skin in a very discrete area and physicall pull the skin tighter. This process has a few down falls thou. First, it can be very expensive and time consuming. What I mean by time consuming is that you are going to have to take a week or so off to recover. Allow your skin and body to relax from the shock of surgery. Also, the effects do not last forever. At first, after your recovery time is up, your neck is going to look just like it did when you were younger and you’ll be very happy. But, eventually, do to your body not producing as much of the elastin fibers and collagen need to keep skin tight, your neck is going to start heading south again. So for people who have a very severe issue happening in their neck area, my suggestion would be to do a surgery, allow your skin to heal and then as a preventative measure use a neck cream or treatment to allow for the skin to remain tight longer. It might be a little more expensive than just using a neck cream as treatment, but we pay for youth in this day and age.

Your neck is a very available part of your body. Being exposed to almost every pollutant and environmental factor that your face is, you have to take care of your neck area just as you would your face. Perhaps adding a preventative neck cream to your daily routine would be a great idea to not have to deal with severe issues at a later date. Just remember, the better you take care of your skin, the better it will take care of you so do right by your skin. Use sun block, use great moisturizers, and go out and get that neck cream. I think you will be surprised at how much this will help in the future as well as now.
