How cancer affects the mind, soul and how in turn can help in healing?

How to relate meditation, emotional expression, family support and knowledge about the disease to deal with.

When first diagnosed with cancer, the first goal is to reduce the discomfort level can be controlled it can make decisions about care. In an attempt to achieve emotional balance, you should use several strategies that can be healing, recognizing that each of us has unique needs and responds differently to what life is present. When a man feels at least the appearance of balance and eye, the opportunity to dive more deeply into the emotional and spiritual significance of the disease becomes available. In each stage there are four elements that could be valuable allies healing: meditation, prayer and visualization techniques; emotional expression; family support; and knowledge of trees.

Each of these refers to an important aspect of the emotional needs of people dealing with cancer.

  1. Meditation, prayer and visualization techniques

Fields of the mind and body are interrelated in a manner that can be separated, so that one disorder creates a disturbance in the other. For example: when we think "My pain is getting worse. I'm sure the cancer had spread", the idea of creating non-convenience and fermentation in the body. So we may have more thoughts about the island - which in turn create even ease pain in the body longer. We can form a circle receiving painful thoughts of his life. To stop the negative spiral of thoughts and emotions, the most closed thing we can do is to go beyond the turmoil of the "mind" and experience the peace and quiet awareness of expanded consciousness. As countless scientific studies have found, meditation, prayer, healing visualization techniques are powerful tools to calm the "mind" and provide the best opportunity to send messages to heal the body.

  1. Emotional expression

Our feelings are a deep ocean of feelings and thoughts. On any given day our emotional sea can be pretty good visibility or rough turbulent. Emotions express themselves through flesh and bone, require our attention, refusing to be rational. They are emotions that we feel them in the body - tightening the stomach, the weight of the heart, the feeling of lump in my throat.

Our body expresses the wisdom through the experiences of comfort, or our feelings of distress are distilled essence of our physical and mental states. As far seems to contradict him, when there is a serious disease like cancer, an initial psychological response to stress is healthy. Anxiety and sadness felt by both natural reactions to the perception of loss. Physical sensations of discomfort are intended to capture the attention and motivate the inner healing process.

  1. Family support

When a family member suffered from cancer, any changes in the relationship, network. Some families naturally get together and support the patient, pharmacy intuitively the right mixture between sadness and hope, seriousness lightly, the courage to surrender. In other families, the fear and uncertainty surrounding the cancer intensify existing tensions and difficulties in the functioning of the already stifling family ties. Independently of existing templates, the disease can provide an opportunity to nurse old wounds and establish new levels of intimacy, if family members are united in an effort designed to take the opportunity to change.

Recommendation that family members will meet on a regular basis, each family member in turn expresses itself in sincere and open, with conscious communication tools. Especially during the first months after diagnosis, scheduled tribe Councils provide a healthy forum family express fear, hopes and needs. Book full of insights "nonviolent communication" psychologist Marshall Rosenberg offers practical instructions that will help you develop a set of conscious communication skills. If your family has never been practiced in the media, consider professional help to turn a family counselor or a cleric - what works for you. Take advantage of cancer offers the opportunity to deepen your intimacy with family and friends they share the road trip is the passage of precious life.

  1. Knowledge empowers

Learn about the cancer you are dealing with is an empowering. If you grew up with the old paradigm, in which patients are getting passive treatment provided by specialists in white coats, you understand the most important member of your medical team. You can understand what is known about paradigm. Ask, challenged and argued with the doctor on the important aspects of your treatment.

Use as many sources of information available in the information. Go to a medical library, please see the information online and find support groups. When investigating different approaches to research and treatment, try to maintain a balanced perspective, consider any possibility of the heart and head. If a new treatment becomes available talk to who passed it before you fly halfway around the world to try it out.

Path to healing requires persistence, flexibility and openness. Move your journey, you will be new experiences and you will discover new information will deepen the wisdom of your life.
