We all would love nothing better than to have our heart's desires manifest as soon as possible in our lives, if not instantly. That has probably been humanity's wish since humanity began. But, of course, we say it doesn't happen that way, at least not in this world, not if we are 'realistic.'
Hold on. Maybe I can't promise that your deepest, dearest desires will manifest instantly or quickly, but I can show you how to manifest them. It really isn't that hard. Because our thoughts have power, we are already constantly manifesting in our reality. We don't realize it, but that's the truth. Remember that old Biblical line, "As a man thinketh, so is he"? Our lives already are a reflection of what we have been holding in our minds.
I know that many believe that they are merely victims of some kind of fate, which is often seen as perverse. Or they see themselves as God's puppets, receiving the life some fuzzy Divine Plan has decreed for them. The truth is that the life you have is only the life you've been capable of visualizing for yourself. No more and no less.
My question to you is, what do you want? Do you want a new car? Or a new job/career? A new house? Success in some endeavor? More money? A new lover? Whatever it is, get out a paper and pen and start making a list. Number your list, but do not put more than ten items on it. Also, when making this list, be as specific as you would like about what it is you want. However, don't get too carried away and start writing pages and pages. Your list shouldn't be longer than one 8-1/2 x 11 page.
Then paste the list up someplace where you will see it often during the day. Perhaps on the refrigerator door or on the mirror in your bathroom. You might want to make a copy of the list and paste it up where you will see it often at work, too. Pause at least three times during the course of the day, everyday, to read through the list, and as you do so, visualize each item in the list as you would like it to look in your life.
If having any specific item would mean so much to you, then turn those emotional faucets on, and imagine how wonderful it would feel if this item was already in your possession. The more emotional energy you bring to your visual pictures, the better.
Some people are not so good at visualizing, and some people may not have a very clear picture of a specific item, but that's okay. Don't worry too much if you can't really get a clear picture of the item in your head.
Note also that you can read the list more often than just three times during the course of any given day. Obviously, the more often, the better, but three times should do it.
After about a month of following this procedure, put the list away in a drawer somewhere and forget about it. Make a note on your calendar for about six months hence to pull the list out and check to see if any of the items there have materialized for you. You may be in for a pleasant surprise. More than likely not all the items have materialized, but I'll bet at least a few have.
There are some caveats connected with this matter. One is that if you are having a conflict about something, wherein one part of you is saying 'yes,' while another part does not believe it can happen for you or that you do not deserve it, then for sure it will not come true. For instance, if you cannot believe that you will receive a large sum of money, then it is unlikely that you will. If you cannot believe that you deserve a wonderful lover, or a better career, or success in some endeavor, and so on, then again, it will not happen for you.
Belief is key here. You have to believe. And you have to believe it can happen for you or that you deserve it. Otherwise, it will not manifest.
Secondly, some things, such as a new career, obviously will not just happen. You have to put out the efforts and take the time to make it happen. Perhaps your wish in this instance should not be that you get a new career, but that you acquire the drive, the ambition, the help you need, or whatever, to make it happen. One does not have to wish for a new career, so much as doing the requisite work to bring it into reality.
Do you need more money? A lot of people do! And you don't see how you can get more money given the work you are doing now or the circumstances you presently are in. Then put that on your wish list, but make the amount you are wishing for in alignment with your reality. It might be foolish to ask for a million dollars when you feel there's no way that's going to happen. On the other hand, it might be a whole lot more likely that you could receive a thousand dollars. That might be something you can believe in.
Clearly, there are some things we can wish to manifest in our reality, and then there are some things only we can manifest by doing the requisite work. Either way, our power to manifest what we want in our lives is much greater than we generally give ourselves credit for.
So get busy and start working on that list!
