Oral health is very important to the children for their development. That oral health can avoid the children from many oral diseases such as cavities and gum diseases which can affect the physical performance of the children. More than it, those diseases also can cause the other serious health problem such as insomnia, some hearing defects, or even stroke. There are many ways to avoid those things. Those ways can be gotten by the parents from the dentist. The most important way to solve those oral problems is, of course, brush the teeth. But there are still other ways which are as important as brushing the teeth such as flossing methods and using the mouthwash. The American Dental Association also advises to the parents for cleaning the mouth of their new baby within a few days after birth. Trough that way, it will help the clarity of the speech and the chewing action in the future. The parents also give more attention for the oral health of their children. They can maintain the schedule for their children for regular oral health checkups. In this procedure, the parents must understand about the children needs for their oral health. So the children won't get late treatment when they get the disease. For encouraging the children to brush their teeth everyday or use the mouthwash, the parents must be more creative, For example changing the color and appearance of toothpastes. It can attract the children and finally they do teeth brushing without any compulsion. Besides all of those things, the parents must keep the diet of their children to keep their children's oral parts healthy. They must give suitable foods which are full of calcium to support the oral health of their children. The children must also avoid the snacks made of sugar and carbohydrates. So their oral health will be more and more healthy.
