Many define a bachelor party as the last night of freedom or even your last night to let loose before the big wedding day day! Bachelor parties are often a well deserved break from the hectic wedding planning which has consumed your life for the last several months. Some may say this is not aways true for the guys, but believe it; they've been through a lot. Whether it's the pain of watching the credit card bills pile up or the pain of dealing with a "Bridezilla", the guys deserve a night off too! A bachelor party is also a opportunity to gather all of your closest friends together. This may be something that doesn't happen often. So taking advantage of this occasion is always a good thing!

When it comes to actually planning a bachelor party, the responsibilities will often fall onto the Best Man or a brother of the groom. When planning the event you'll want to make sure everything is kept top secret. So be very careful who is told.

Often when people hear the world bachelor party they automatically assume strippers. If the groom is content with that idea then going that route will be entirely up to you and the group. A lot of strip clubs tend to be pricey and often not every guy is willing to pay for something like that. So you will want to take that into account. If the strip club idea is a no go you're probably pressed for ideas. When choosing an activity you'll want to consider what the groom's interests are and plan from there.

If at all possible, a bachelor party should be scheduled about two weeks prior to the wedding date. It would be smart idea try and avoid having the party the day or night before the wedding. Your wedding day may be both the most important and expensive day of your life; do you want to spend it overly tired, crabby, or even hung over? That's what I thought. So be sure to schedule accordingly.

Now that you've chosen a date for your bachelor party it's time for the activities. Listed below are a few activities that may work for your bachelor party.

• Camping
• Host a poker night
• Paint ball
• Roast the groom. Tell all those embarrassing stories while the bride isn't around.
• Go-carting
• Consider a road trip
• White water rafting
• Shark Cage Diving
• Skydiving
• Bungy Jumping
• High Speed Rally driving
• Slot Car Racing
• Amusement Parks
• A Bar Crawl
• Visit a Comedy Club
• Visit a Music Concert
In the end you'll want to remember, the bachelor party is all about having fun, male-bonding, and of course a day the groom will never forget.
