In the Bible, 1st Corinthians 13:4-8, the word of God tells us that:
"Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it's not proud. Love is not rude, it's not self seeking, it's not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails".
Now, wait a minute, there's one more very important verse, in 1st Corinthians 13:13, the Bible also tells us about faith, hope and love, but that the greatest of these three is Love.
"Wow", this is the awesome Power of the word "Love"
It's very important to realise that the word "Love" is life transforming, when you actually apply it in your daily life.
To capture the reality of love in life and practice love in anything you do means that you'll fill yourself with it, and eventually become a magnet of love and adoration by others around you. This includes your family, friends and colleagues.
Practicing love can be a wonderful way of living, and as you go about your day, one way of increasing your spiritual fulfilment in love is to say it in lyrics and what better way to show it than to rejoice in your love for Jesus.
Affirming love in lyrics is really wonderful, it lifts you up from any low sprits and sets you on a path to a day of hope, joy and contentment.
Ok, take a look at another short verse from the Bible" Song of Songs":
"For love is Strong, it burns like a blazing fire, many waters cannot quench love, rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one's house for love, it would be utterly scorned"
This Biblical reference also confirms the Power of love, hence the importance of living in love, including loving ourselves and others around us, as we go through our daily lives.
Loving yourself is the starting point
It may sound strange, but there are people who find it difficult to accept and love themselves, hence they carry this burden all their lives, without knowing how to let go, so as to move on.
The fact is that in order to be able to love anybody else or anything else with all our hearts, the love has to start from ourselves, from deep within.
Regardless of how you feel about yourself right now, begin to proclaim love within yourself. Loving yourself means love without any conditions, without any limits. Say to yourself, "YES, I Love myself and God loves me dearly. I am a Child of God and I am full of Love".
Don't worry right now if this love is not currently overflowing within you, keep affirming it with absolute faith, and in time it will be a natural part of you.
When you are full of love, then you are ready to give it and to receive more in abundance. In time, you'll notice that your life will be thrilled with love from all areas and from different people. You'll become a magnet, radiating love all around you.
So, if you wish to find more love, fill yourself with it first and you will attract more love into your life on a daily basis.
Loving Jesus is part of this process and Jesus loves you unconditionally, so here is a Love Lyric affirming your love for Jesus:
Know that the love of Jesus is all around us and he fills us up with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.
Proclaim the love of Jesus in your life, and bring him closer to you always, as your guardian companion.
As you practice love, you can affirm the following "Jesus prayer lyrics":
*Jesus you are the love of my life
*Jesus I give you the glory for everything you've done for me
*Jesus I am rejoicing for joy in the faith that I have in you
*Jesus you take my burden and worries away
*Jesus you take care of me in love
*Jesus your love in me grows daily
*Jesus I am delighted in you always
*Jesus my love for you is precious
*Jesus I pray for ongoing blessing in my Life.
Remember, out of all the gifts in life, know that Love is the greatest gift to Yourself or Another.
