You’ve just found out you’re pregnant and everything seems perfect. You feel as though nothing can interfere with how happy you feel. Then you’re hit with an unexpected turn. Your spouse decides to leave you and you find yourself pregnant and alone. An unsupported pregnancy is the hardest thing to go through. This may have been unexpected or something that you seen coming, regardless this type of situation is not the least bit easy. The following tips will help you to stay positive and gain confidence that you are not alone. Be Worry Free As we all know, the hardest thing in the world is to not worry. With a pregnancy alone we have so many decisions to make and things to worry about. But if you ever went one day knowing that everything will fall into place you would see how smoother your day would go. Yes, it’s easier said than done. However, try taking it one day at a time. Theirs no reason to worry now about what could happen in five years. Stay positive because you never know what tomorrow holds. Redirect Your Focus Wow, you’re having a baby! Feel blessed to be able to have this experience. Redirect your focus on your baby. Read lots of books to educate yourself about how your baby is growing and to keep yourself occupied. Join a parenting class or take pregnancy yoga to surround yourself with pregnant women. Also, do things to boost your confidence. Get a pedicure, massage or go shopping. Every girl loves to go shopping. It will help you to feel new and improved with those new curves you’ll be getting. Try starting off with a new pair of maternity jeans that will compliment your curves. You Are Not Alone Know that you are not alone. For starters there are many other women out there that are going through or have been through the same thing. Chatting with other women with a similar situation will help you feel better venting to someone who knows how you feel. Join groups online to share ideas on what you do to help deal with your situation. You will feel good about helping others to deal with theirs. Most importantly, you have a miracle growing inside you. Your baby is with you every moment of the day. And even at times when you want to be left alone, you won’t be because the one inside you is counting on you to give he/she all the nutrients and love needed to grow.
