For doing any type of make up there are so many things are planned. For the prom makeup planning your dress, shoes, prom makeup and hair.It is important to have a good normal base of makeup. There are so many esssential thingesbefore doing the makeup and these are foundation, powder, lipstick, eyeliner, eyelash curler, body glitter powder. Prom night is a special occasion and most girls would be eager to get their makeup done to perfection. To achieve this look, stick to what you know, but add a few extra little touches for that all important wow-factor.

Tips for the prom make up
Some times make up can be do at home by remembering the proper combination of colours and basic idea about the make up. Try out tips and tricks to highlight your best features and get all set to dazzle at the party. With great tanned skin any light shade look great which does not only cover the eye but the eye bag area too. Ttry sliver or ash grey or light turquoise. Uuse a silver eyeliner & heavy black eyelshes.
The following are the some tips for the prom make up:

Pick your eyes - To put makeup highlight both the eye and the mouth. Just stay away from brown and make sure you keep your eye makeup soft and simple. Your eyes, go all out with liner, shadow, mascara and even false eyelashes.
Your lipstick lasts by bringing your foundation down over your lips first, outlining with lip liner and then coloring in the lips themselves with the same liner.
Use your index finger to gently cover any dark circles under your eyes with a concealer that is one shade lighter than the rest of your skin.
Try putting a turquiose eye liner...and mascara..put also a pink lip gloss and dont forget to put a foundation and a pressed poweder that will make it more formal also apply a blusher...in that way your make up will be really simple and very beautiful
Select a foundation that is one shade lighter than your own, and gently place around the eye area or any other area with deepening lines.
Use a peach or pink eye shadow, with deep brown or green mascara. you could also do a smoky look with plums.

Sparkly lids and thick, bold lines are ravishing when your dress is dark and classic.
Well, from a mathematical standpoint, if you take the integral of the arc-tangent of the angle between your shoulders and your neck with respect to paleness of your skin, and then differentiate that with respect to the darkness of the dress (now here comes the tricky part) multiply this by the three-dimensional vectorial slope of the secant line from the tip of your nose to either jaw-bone hinge and divide that by blue, and I believe you will have the color you were looking for.
Overly applied blush can leave you looking ghastly. Brush off excess blush with a cotton ball.
Whatever dress color you're wearing, you should use it to match your eyeshadow and use a lot of glitters, so you can look way beautiful and all glam!
Set your face makeup with a loose powder then add a hint of color to highlight your features.
Green and blue eyes look fantastic when highlighted with gold, first use a dark brown or bronze to line the bottom and top of the eye going from the inside corner to the outside corner. Next apply a gold cream eyeshadow to the entire lid of the eye. For more sparkle opt for a shimmer powder instead and finish with three coats of brown mascara.
Make sure you drink plenty of water to flush out impurities, and embark upon a thorough cleansing, toning and moisturising regime.
Finish your face with a dual-active powder that gives a flawless finish and cover problem areas.
