In order to be successful it is a must for one & all to believe in their selves. The faith that 'I can' is the real key to success in al phases of life. No matter your goal is professional or personal, for instance, being a successful golfer for the weekends, you would always stand better chances of success in case you trust yourself. This self belief is a great weapon to fight back procrastination. So get started today and take the charge of your life right now.

Here are some tips that would help you increase your belief in yourself and fight procrastination effectively:

1. Learn to control the negative thoughts.

When ever your mind says that you can not do something, simply refuse to listen to that voice. Never express the negative thoughts in words; just tell your mind, rather speak this out loud – you shall do what ever it takes to complete the job.

2. Stop believing that you would loose.

Sometimes people are so convinced with the idea that they shall fail, that they never ever try on any opportunity. It might sound easy, but it's indeed very difficult to face such a problem! But at last, it is worth all the efforts. First of all, you must totally negate the facts that the demon of procrastination explains to you!

3. We can change.

Human beings have a unique characteristic as compared to the other creatures of the world - they can change! When we can change, why not all the responsibilities of the good & bad that we do! For instance, smokers delude themselves by saying that they hate smoking and that they want to quit it but they can't!

Though it is no doubts difficult to quit smoking, but the point is do you actually feel the need to quit smoking! Or, are you just befooling yourself with the idea that I could have done this but I can't!

Try this li'l quiz in order find out, in case the negative thoughts cause procrastination in your lives:

1. When it comes to accomplishing a job, do you expect yourself to be successful? What do you think – you would be able to accomplish the job successfully in case you put in your best efforts?

2. How do you visualize success for yourself? When ever you face some difficult task & feel that you must give up, do you manage to pep up yourself and stay motivated?

3. When ever your friends, family, or others notify some habit in you that you must change, do you recognize the truth in their words? What do you think – can you overcome your bad habits?

4. Are you willing to accept the responsibility in case your projects fail instead of looking for something or some excuse that is beyond your control to just blame it on?

5. When ever your mind explains that you shall fail, do you make an attempt to replace those negative thoughts with the positive ones?

In case you have answered a 'no' to any or all of the questions mentioned above, just ask yourself the following questions:

1. What is your approach in life and what can you do to make it rather positive?
2. Do you wish to continue living with the same negative thoughts, fears & doubts?
3. Are there just any benefits of clinging on to the negative attitude?

We can change all our bad habits by simply wanting them to change, but with all our determination. And all of us can defeat the demon of procrastination in the life - especially in case we believe that we can!
