Smoking is something that remains quite popular with a select group of people – though it is also something that is very dangerous for you and something that should be avoided. Quitting is something that is difficult to do for many people, and sometimes the biggest hurdle for a person to get over in order to quit is the hurdle of figuring out how they want to quit, and what quitting might mean for them. Therefore, it is important to take advantage of a few anti smoking ideas, in order to get the word out more successfully about smoking and about how dangerous it might be. One of the reasons the reason this is so dangerous is that it is something that is often picked up by the young. People who don't know how dangerous it is might be more prone to start smoking, and if a person starts when they are younger, they are going to have a much harder time quitting. Therefore several anti smoking ads, anti smoking cartoons, and slogans have been developed in order to help teenagers and people who are both younger and older, realize how dangerous it is and what a bad idea it might be. In order to be a successful anti smoking ad campaign, there are several things that a particular ad must do. First of all, an ad must be something that is very clear, as it is important to make sure that the word is getting out. Also, an ad campaign must be interesting, because people, especially teenagers have heard the same things over and over again about how dangerous smoking is. They need to hear about it in a way that make sense to them, and in a way that is very interesting. Also, anti-smoking-slogans must be catchy, but not too silly or too serious. Many times, people need to understand the importance of not smoking, and so they are going to need a cartoon ad that catches their attention and make them think at the same time. There is a lot of truth out there about smoking that people don’t always get to hear or understand. Therefore, the best anti-smoking-campaigns are those that are truthful, thought provoking and yet convey the message in a manner that everyone understands and appreciates. This is by far the best way to catch someone before they start, and to encourage people who have started to quit.
