How to rekindle your relationship and get back together with your ex If you really want to get back together with your ex, it is possible, no matter what the reasons for the break up were. Even if you were dumped by your partner, do not write off the possibilty of a reconciliation. If you truly want to get back together with your ex, a bit of understanding and some hard work can bring results. In many cases, breaking up is the result of a decision that wasn't very well thought out, so it's entirely possible that your ex may be willing to make a go of rekindling your relationship if you give them enough time. But one thing you will have to do is figure out what went wrong so that you can go about addressing the problem. If you do not sort the problem, then the relationship is never going to be capable of being rekindled, because the same problems will still be there. One common cause of relationship break ups is that one or both partners become bored. Whatever the reason, you have to find out what the problem was and find a way to change things. If you really want to get back together with your ex, you will have to show them that you are the person they really want to be with. Don't pester your ex, show them that you are in demand, that you are moving on, and that you seem OK with things as they are, and are not dwelling on the past. This approach will show your ex how mature and happy you are, and it could remind them of how much they need and want you. There are many things you can do to get back together with your ex, but most of all you will have to be patient rather than impetuous, and be willing to listen, and act on constructive criticism in order to make it happen.
