Whether your relationship is a happy one or one that is in trouble, this advice can help you get your relationship back to a thing of happiness, sex and intimacy.

Some would say that to manage a relationship like a business is cold hearted. Managing it entirely with your emotions is foolhardy. Instead, manage your relationship like a budget. Learn why this makes the most sense!

I once heard a pastor talking about a relationship being much like a bank account. He said that you make deposits and withdrawals in the relationship. Do something good or sweet and you've got yourself a bit of extra love and affection. Do something "not so" nice and that's a withdrawal.

A love letter?Deposit
A romantic evening?Deposit
The interest rate or dividend?Happiness, sex, intimacy...

A grumpy remark?Withdrawal
Forget a birthday or anniversary?Withdrawal

It got me thinking...if you do too much in terms of withdrawals, you might find yourself inOVERDRAFT!

Get Your Relationship Out Of The Red and Into The Black!

So, manage your relationship a lot like your budget. Put time and effort into planning the relationship much like a budget and think long and hard before making any big decisions that could impact that relationship.

Make sure your deposit to withdrawal ratio is a very healthy one and make sure you have a surplus at all times.  Take regular stock of things and look to your partner for obvious cues as to how you're doing.

Much like a bank account that gets regular savings deposits, a relationship that is nurtured will also grow and sustain you.
