I've had a lot of things to say in my life. I've made some of my feelings public on myspace (who?) and facebook from time to time, but I always had some backlash from the parentals for speaking my mind.

Well as much as I love and respect them, they're still my feelings and I should be able to say and feel what I want.

I just watched that movie IT'S COMPLICATED. It kinda messed with my head. Not saying that all movies/situations/books/stories/real life situations/etc of this nature don't have an effect on me, but this really brought it home.

I have no idea how I'd react if I found out my divorced parents of over 30 years were having an affair. Honestly, I'd be pissed because my daddy has been married to my stepmom (whom I gave hell to, and have grown to appreciate to a level she'll never quite understand due to my dumbass ways as a teenager/young adult/person/etc.)

But seriously, why would people get divorced just to decide ten years down the road (or whatever amount of time it takes) to try to "make it work"? I've never been married and will mention that every chance I get, but I did have that "love of my life". I left him when I was 24-years-old because we just couldn't make it work. It had A LOT to do with him not being able to keep his "junk", as the kids these days call it, in his britches, but also because I hated him.

Nevertheless, I sought him out a few months ago after I heard he was going through a divorce. Long story short, we were older, fatter but only one of us was wiser. If you have to ask which one then stop reading my shit. ANYWAY.

My point to this whole thing is...I love my parents. I know they went their separate ways because they needed to. I've never asked for details and appreciate their classiness when it came to being civil just for me.

So as far as that dumb IT'S COMPLICATED movie is concerned, if you're a former married couple WITH CHILDREN who decide to give it another shot, keep it to yourselves. There's a reason the relationship ended.

That is all.
