One wonderful secret that helps build self-confidence is by remembering names.  By following a few easy tips you will be the smart guy that can remember everyone's name.

Forgetting names in social circumstances can be tremendously embarrassing. For example, I live in a summer resort area where I see people for a short time  during the season.  Then next year I'm talking to them and trying to remember names.  I generally just apologize and say "my name is Billy and yours is? So for those of you who have found yourself in a related situation  and need some direction, here are some great tips you can practice that have worked well for me.

We all want to feel better about ourselves.  It would give us great pleasure  and builds our self-confidence if we could remember virtually every one's name that we meet.  Starting by remembering names we can improve our photographic memory that will help us remember other things, too..

No. 1.Use the persons name in a sentence..

Within 30 seconds from the time the person states their name, use the persons name in a sentence.  For instance, if someone says their name is Tim, you can say "How long did it take you to drive here from Ohio, Tim?"?

The biggest reason why persons fail to remember names is because they never had it in the first place.  When your being introduced to somebody new, don't be thinking about what you're going to say while they are telling you their name.  Focus on what they're saying.

No. 2.Ask something special about their name.

Ask about the origin of the name.  Ask them if they know what the name means.  Even if they are not sure of its meaning, it will give you an chance to practice tip No. 1.

No. 3.Associate the name with someone well-known.

Say you meet a guy named Tim, in your  mind visualize him standing withTim McGraw or tool-man Tim. Seehim standing with a whole group of famous Tim,s.

No. 4.Picture the name typed out.

T-I-M.  Think about it as a flashing neon sign.

No. 5.Review the names several times.

Especially if someone gives you a business card, take five seconds and focus on the name on the business.  Shortly after your introduction pull out the business card and have another look at the name.

To build self-confidence a person should aquire skills .  By using these ideas, you are able to train your latent photographic memory skills.

According to Dr. Cynthia Green Ph.D, we all had photographic minds at a young age.  But as we aged, we quit exercising this skill and it stopped working.

You have just read five tips to help get you going on your way to a photographic memory.
