With an estimated 34% of Americans believed to be clinically obese compared to the 32.7 percent who are overweight, the growing obesity situation has prompted many clinical trials into making weight loss surgery less dangerous.

The latest called POSE (Primary Obesity Surgery Endolumenal) is designed to help obese slimmers with a body mass of 28-33 to lose 30lbs-50lbs in excess body fat without benefiting from deformity and dangers of traditional weight loss surgery.

And based on first impressions it seems to work…

By gently forcing an endoscope into the throat of the individual, cosmetic surgeons are able to suture the top section of the stomach shut and make it smaller by a third of its size.

Does its work?

The purposebehind this cosmetic procedure - which is undergoing testing - is to minimise the stretching ability of the part of the stomach that is prone to stretching.

However, this surgery is already much concernabout its ability to produce natural weight loss. Slimmers are reputed to only be able to eat 4 mouthfuls per dish before feeling satisfied, an intake that isn't acceptable for a healthy body.

Commonly the body needs up to 1,200-1,500 calories per day to help support your body's internal workings. Eat too little and your body won't work properly.

So although this new scar free weight loss surgery may be able to cause quick weight loss, in the long term it could affect your body weight - especially as cosmetic surgeons are confident these stitches will last for life.

How can I lose weight safely?

The safestroute to witness risk free, healthy weight loss is to eat a balanced diet and ensure that you exercise often. However, if you need help promoting your weight loss, this can easily be achieved without undergoing cosmetic surgery.

The assistance of a provenweight loss supplement such as Proactol can offer you with the jumpstart you want to modifyyour diet; bind up to 30%of your dietary fat consumptionand experience natural weight loss.
