Expressions, gifts and romance are flavors of the Valentine season. The cupid is all over the marketplace with plethora of gifting options and ideas for the occasion. Couples, singles, married, engaged, everyone, all over the world, celebrates Valentine's day with unmatched fervor and enthusiasm. People are thinking about how they can make it special for their partner. Everyone is splurging on expensive Valentine's day gifts, chocolates, flowers, cards, dinner arrangements and many other things. So are you also thinking on how to make it a memorable evening? Here are some unique, ravishing and ultra romantic ideas to make your Valentine's day a lifetime experience.

1.Plan A Short Holiday
It's ain't that easy to manage a holiday during the season. But you can plan a weekend off. Plan a short two to four day off to a close by locale and spend amazing time with your Valentine. Book the room in advance, plan your stay, drink, dine, shop, romance and have fun. Remember it's time for you to be together and love and pamper each other. Do things to make your partner feel special and loved – surprise, give them flowers and small gifts through the day, write the, love notes and keep them under the pillow, dine at romantic places, go out for Valentine's day special night outs and parties. Just enjoy to the fullest.

2.Romantic Dinner
If you are planning to go for a holiday you can plan a nice elaborate romantic dinner for the special day. Preferable choose a romantic, roof top setting, reserve a table well in advance, choose the best wine available, a candle lit table, enthralling table settings & decor - candle holders, tinkering rice- bulb rope lights and hurricane lamps.

In case you don't have enough time to go at and are planning a dinner at your place, it would take a little effort from your side. Get a nice table, a beautiful table skirting, a candelabra, big enough to hold pillar candles , a polka dotted dining set, shining cutlery and a lovingly prepared, ambrosiac dinner. Enjoy it with your sweetheart, as you sip the wine, looking into his or her eyes.

3.Surprise-Full Day
Another way to make your partner feel loved and pampered on the V-day, is to make it a day full of loving surprises. You can have small and sweet surprises planned for the day, hidden in small, unexpected places. Love notes, small gifts, cards and flowers at everyday workplaces like a flower on the bed, note on the breakfast table, gift in the cupboard, a special breakfast, off from work, tickets for a romantic movie and love album, a romantic poem, a recorded song in your own voice, impromptu dance and so on. Make it absolutely romantic. Do things that you usually don't. Talk politely, loving kisses every now and then and whatever else make your valentine completely loved and adored.

4.Catch Up On Romantic Classics
An extremely cozy and comfortable idea for a romantic Valentine's day, is to get a bunch of evergreen romantic flicks and classic love stories – Wicker Park, Casablanca, That night in Rio, Sabrina, Romeo & Juliet, Notting Hill, etc. - and watch through the night. Nothing gets better than cozying up in a big blanket on a double bed, having dinner in bed and then getting back to the movies as you exchange furtive glances and snuggle up in between the too-romantic-to- handle sequences, It's fun !

5.Bonfire & Barbecue
A bonfire in the garden or the backyard, with a barbecue dinner and a glass of wine, on a starry night is also an ultimate romantic retreat. Just make sure you light up the place with decorative garden lighting and get some luxurious garden furniture and have a nice time around the bonfire. Arrange for some music arrangements for a close, romantic dance. In case you are an over romantic and can arrange a garden bed, nothing beats a cozy canopy in a garden. The perfect ending to a day dedicated to love.
