SERVING GOD,OR MAMMON?
I sat upon a lakes shore
Poles out
Waiting
For a catfish to bite
Leaning back
Relaxing against a tree stump
I reach for a cup of coffee
Out of an old beat up thermos
And as the moon lit starry ripples
Lapped gently against the shore
I filled my cup.
I then started thinking
(Which in my case praise God, is a dangerous thing to do)
About all the things that are going on in this world of ours,
And one of mans most famous questions came to mind,
God when is all this chaos going to stop?
We say this in every known language in this world,
In so many ways
In so many forms
Whether we are Christians or not
God
When is all this chaos going to stop?
Then
It came to me,
When we stop serving both God and Mammon
Think on this
We are a world of many diverse nations,
And within each of those nations,
Many diverse laws
Diverse religions
Diverse denominations
Yet
We all have one thing in common,
We are all asking the same question
A question God gave us an answer to already
It's just that because ofOURdiversity, we as mankind
Can't see it
The answer to it lies right before our eyes,
Yet,
We miss it.
WHY?
Because we do not want to believe the answer given to us
By God
If we did
We wouldn't be on this continuous search for an answer From Mammon
Second
Separation of church and state …
Ever think about that one?
If this is the case, why are our laws, the very beginning of our laws from most countries founded upon the Word of God?
Our own Constitution for example, is based and founded on the Word of God.
Yet, we have taken God out of everything.
We have taken Him out of our schools, courts, and out of most public places, (unless now of course, there can be a dollar made.)
WHY?
Because we allowed it to happen!
WHY?
Because we stopped believing God!
Many folks will disagree with me when I make this statement
But there is a reason I say it
For I have found that just about as many folks will agree
" If you don't believe God,
How can you then say in the same breath
That you believe in him?"
For in order to believe in anything folks,
You must first and foremost
BELIEVE!!!
Many of our churches, (no matter of what denomination) state that they are based upon the Word of God. Yet, they are at war with one another.
WHY
Because of not believing God!

WE
MANKIND
Took our eyes off of God
Where there is
No diverse religions
No diverse laws
No diverse nations
And placed our eyes upon ourselves
Becoming ensnarled within the services of Mammon.
This in turn
Has created divisions
Diversity, Chaos
You know, what you hear, see, and feel in this world every day.
God is not pleased with this!
God seen this very same thing back in the days of Noah
" And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His Heart.\
And The Lord said, I will destroy man whoI have created from the face of the earth: both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; For it repenteth me that I have made them."
(Gen.6:5-7)
Folks it really comes down to this one conclusion, the Bible says
Everything God created
Was good.
God created us above the angles. He gave us a special gift that He didn't give to his other creations, and that is the gift of Choice.
Now look around you at whereOURchoices, has led us to.
Choices, not of God, but made (based) upon the arrogance, pride, bigotry, and hatred of man. Creating a world of, diverse nations, diverse laws, and diverse religions.
God we cry
When is all this chaos going to stop?
Gods answer
WHEN WE DO!
When man, (Mankind) comes back to our senses and start
BELIEVING HIM!
NOT JUST BELIEVING IN HIM!
What's your choice?
Believing our Creator (God)
OR
Believing the diversity of man?
Before you finish hearing or reading these words, you would have already chosen in whose service you want to be in.
In closing
I leave you with these words from God
"No man can serve two masters;
"For he will either hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon."(Mat.6:24, 1 Tim.6:17 James 4:4)

It's one or the other
It can't be both.
Jesus said "He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
