Acne and pimples are not a good sight to behold but teenagers who are undergoing drastic hormonal changes in their bodies suffer a lot from acne outbreaks. There are some adults who also suffer from acne especially on the chin and would love to get rid of it completely since this affects them not only physically but also psychologically.

How do you cure acne on chin without having to take prescription drugs which may cause other side effects that could harm you?

The first thing that you should bear in mind is to STOP touching your pimples with your hands whether you have washed your hands or not. Your hands have a lot of bacteria which could be spread if you keep touching your pimples and make matters worse for you. Another outbreak will be another problem you would have to deal with! Touching your pimples and squeezing them could also add bruising and scarring on your skin!

If you are among those people who are required to wear a mask or helmet or any device that has contact with your chin, you have increased chances of having more acne on chin outbreaks. If you need to wear a mask, change it frequently so that sweat and dirt will not be trapped in the area. If you need to wear a device with a chin strap, line it with a clean cloth so that you will be sure that your chin is not directly in contact with bacteria.

What you put inside your body reflects on the outside so it follows that what you eat plays an important part in your acne on chin outbreak. If you have a lot of trans fat and animal fat in your diet, your body tends to produce more inflammatory hormones. Inflammatory hormones are important since they help in the healing of wounds as well as protect the body from various infections; however, overproduction of these hormones could cause acne breakouts!

The best way to keep the hormones in your body under control is by eating right and having more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Tomatoes, oranges, apples, leeks, green beans, avocados and spinach are among the food the contains essential nutrients to keep the hormones at bay. Performing exercises could also keep the body in good shape and cause hormones to function properly thus reducing the onset of acne on chin breakouts.

Water is not called the elixir of life for nothing that is why drinking plenty of water is essential in keeping your body healthy by flushing out toxins. Drink at least eight glasses a day to keep you acne-free!
