If you find yourself tossing and turning night after night, you are probably looking for some sleep remedies. I hope to be able to show you some natural sleep remedies, and why relying on drugs to get more rest is a bad idea. When many people have insomnia and are unable to sleep at night, they turn to sleeping pills, and then they fall asleep. But as time goes on, they notice it gets harder and harder to get to sleep, and when they do wake up, they felt as if they had not slept at all. Other unlucky insomnia sufferers experience a number of side effects, some not that serious, others very much so. Vomiting, dizziness, even loss of libido are some of the side effects of using sleep medications. Also, some users have been known to do crazy things in their sleep, such as driving! And when you using sleeping pills, you are not curing your insomnia. You are just delaying it, and your insomnia will return once you stop using the pills. This is why I so strongly recommend that people use natural sleep remedies instead. There are all kinds of natural solutions for sleep problems out there that you can try. Some involve changing your lifestyle, while other sleep remedies involve activities. Do you stay out late at night on weekends, and sleep in late? Trying to go to bed at the same time each night is one of the simple sleep remedies. Do you drink caffeine and/or alcohol shortly before bed? Cut this out, and you could get a good night's rest right away. There are many sleep remedies that do not include drugs. For the entire list, check out the book Stop Insomnia here
