Planning to elope can be the perfect solution for many couples. Whether you have decided to elope for financial reasons (if so read my ebook ), to get away from the fuss of the wedding planning or purely cause that's how you have always intended on saying your nuptials, there are still many things you need to arrange.

Like a traditional wedding, you still need to set a budget and stick to it. Make sure both parties are happy with the set amount to avoid any arguments down the track.

You will still need to do it arrange your wedding licence. This can vary from country to country, state to state so it's best to contact your local marriage register and ask the question.

Whether or not you plan on telling people what you're doing, be prepared for some disappointment. Sure there going to be shocked and possibly happy to your face, deep down they may be feeling completely different, so be understanding.

You will still need something to wear (or not :))– you can go with the casual approach and wear a nice dress or still wear a traditional gown – its entirely up to you.

Popular venues to elope are Las Vegas and South pacific islands. The internet will be able to help you find a suitable chapels, or better still talk to your travel agent – you would be surprised at how many couples approach them wishing to book there travels to elope. Talking of travel agents, while your there get them to make your travel arrangements if need be.

I have only pointed out a few points in regards to eloping, There are still many things to organise and will take time to organise. What ever you decide, just like a traditional wedding, make sure your making the right decision and right choices. You don't want to regret your choices down the track.
