Waking up in the morning is the one thing most people probably hate. It is simple, who wants to wake up from doing the most relaxing thing you can possibly do? However, there are some tips that you can follow to make sure waking up does not feel as bad as it can. One simple way of feeling less tired when waking up is sleeping with your blinds slightly open. It is much easier to wake up to some sun than to wake up in the dark. Waking up in the sun makes it feel more natural and your body will feel much better when getting out of the bed. When it is dark though, you will still feel like it is night time and feel like you should be sleeping still. Another way of feeling less tired when waking up is using an alarm that does not sound blistering painful. Having a loud screeching alarm clock will make you feel grouchy when you wake up which will then make you feel tired again. However, having an alarm clock that has a more soothing sound or tone to it will make you feel more relaxed when waking up. Having a comfortable bed will also help you feel more rested when you wake up. An uncomfortable bed can cause neck and back problems, and will cause a lousy sleep during the night. With a good bed though, you will sleep much better and waking up in the morning will make you feel well and fresh. Probably the most important thing to remember though in order to feel well-rested after waking up is getting enough sleep. Everyone needs a different amount of sleep to wake up, and it needs to be neither too short nor too long. Sleeping for longer than you should or for shorter than you should will cause you to feel tired and sleepy the next day. Usually somewhere between 6 and 9 hours of sleep tends to work best for everyone, so be sure to sleep early enough to allow for enough hours of sleep. When it comes to sleeping, no one wants to wake up because they usually feel tired in the morning. However, with tips like sleeping with the blinds slightly open, using a nice sounding alarm clock, sleeping in a comfortable bed, and getting enough rest will help anyone get a good nights rest.
