In fourth grade our teacher would write notes for us to copy from the board and I would write them in my notebook completely incorrectly. I had trouble comprehending reading assignments and I seemed to "miss" the format for how to write a proper essay in third grade.

Dyslexia In Adults is not fun at all.

The most frustrating part of this equation is the fact that it doesn't really take a lot more energy to help dyslexics, but having a teacher look at themselves and ask "what do I need to do?" Many won't do this and instead pass the blame onto the student, and thus, the vicious cycle of dyslexia continues. Even though I understood biological and chemical principles, the way I thought about math problems so differently that it made it hard for me to communicate my thoughts about a given topic with my chemistry or biology professors.
