The endless stream of worries that enter your head is one of the most challenging things I know that comes with anxiety.  You just want to find ways to stop worrying now so you can get on with your life because oftentimes it can become overwhelming.

These are tips that can assist you in ending your obsessive thoughts and stop you from worrying now:

First, write down everything that you are worried about in a journal or a piece of paper.Write down everything you worry about. Write it out on paper and allow yourself 10 to 15 minutes to write non-stop..  All the things that you worry about no matter how big or small, just write it all down.

The second thing to do is relax and think about each of the worries. How can you handle or recover from it and what would you do if that scenario came true? We cannot manage or bounce back from very few events in our life.  There are times that it could help alleviate any worrisome thoughts you might have and will help you to stop worrying if you have a backup plan.

Third take the time to address every one of the worrisome thoughts you can't control. There are not many things that can't be controlled. You need to accept that there's nothing you can do about them.  Stop worrying about them because it really serves no purpose and they are out of your hands. Why don't you think of a realistic outcome whenever you start to worry about this?

Fourth, get rid of stress in your life. When we are stressed about things in our life, whether it be work or personal problems, worry tends to pop up.  Make some time to relax and stop thinking about your problems.  You can do this for 5 or 10 minutes each day because it could really help you to stop worrying now.

Fifth action to take is to know when to ask for help.If these problems becomes a critical obstacle for your ability to deal with life, don't handle this all by yourself.   Don't be ashamed to talk to a friend or to find a good psychologist to give you advice.

It could make you feel a great deal of distress if you have to worry constantly.  Use the above tips too help you to stop worrying and to help you move on with your life. When you no longer feel motivated to worry about everything enjoy the wonderful mental space and peace of mind that you will get.
