The human mind is a powerfully creative instrument with the potential to improve our lives, transform our situation, and bring us both inner peace and exciting new possibilities.

If given the opportunity, our subconscious mind power can provide us with guidance beyond that which ordinary planning can do for us and allow us to tap into amazing abilities that can
change our whole lifestyle and give us a fresh spiritual perspective.

In order for this desirable state to be attained, however, we need to clear our minds of any preconceived notions that might confine our mental powers, and train ourselves to focus on the positive (thus visualizing it and ultimately "realizing" it - in the sense of "making it real").

A constant focus on the negative is one of the things most damaging to our mental powers. In recognizing this fact, we must be careful not to blame ourselves for this focus, even if we see it in ourselves. Such blame is not only pointless, it is also another form of focusing on the negative, and simply continues the harmful mental habit in a different shape.

Furthermore, just as you do not blame someone for catching influenza because someone else came to their workplace sick, or for being hurt in an accident someone else caused, it is unjust to blame yourself for any negative thoughts you may have. The stresses and problems of the world around you infect you with these thoughts, without you even realizing it, and cause you to limit yourself to their small measure.

Fortunately, within our subconscious mind power there is the cure to these harmful, negative thoughts. Anyone who realizes it can begin the process of reclaiming their positive mental power for themselves.

Simply by reading the articles on this site, you have begun the process of freeing yourself from the limitations that daily life tries to force on you. You are expanding your mind, seeing new possibilities, and gaining a greater understanding of the wonderful potential that exists within you as a unique, conscious individual.

Training your mind to focus on the positive unleashes your creative potential and strengthens your mental power. Not only is focusing on the positive fruitful, it is also pleasant and becomes easier the more you practice it.

Whenever you begin to think something negative - for example, lamenting that your job is unpleasant and ill-paid - stop thinking about your current situation, and instead think of what a better job would be like. If you think about your current job, you are letting it absorb all of your mental energies and become your only reality. But if you think about better jobs that would improve your life, and focus on these, then your subconscious mind will begin to tap into its potential, and will soon begin to offer you insights that will guide you to the desired result.

You must have trust in the ability of your mind to provide you with a solution, and not "over-think" or "overanalyze."

Keep the image of the positive, desirable goal in your mind, focus on it, and do whatever "feels" right at the moment to move towards that goal. Don't expect to follow an exact plan - follow the inner wisdom that is speaking to you through your 'gut feeling' and don't be afraid to change your direction if your feelings tell you that you should.

This is your power - your subconscious mind power - that can change your life in the way you need or want, as long as you give it the scope to guide you without being caged in by preconceptions or fears. Visualize the positive, drive out the negative, and let your subconscious choose the road that will bring you safely to your destination.
