Baby boomers, that large segment of the population which has been influencing the market place for decades, have started to become senior citizens. As they have aged, the baby boomers continue to strive for the success they have been working toward their whole lives. Those who have now become senior citizens may have achieved the success they sought or they may have fallen short of their goals. The world largely measures success by the amount of money a person has, but there are many other facets to the subject of success. While money is important and absolutely necessary in life, there are other parts of life which indicate success. The amount of money is not as important as the quality of life one has achieved. It may have more to do with relationships and setting and achieving goals in life It has been said that the greatest success that people can have will be within the walls of their own homes. The families they have and the children they rear will be an indication of their success in life. How did those children turn out and how do they feel about life? How have they done in their own lives as they have grown up? What kind of families have they achieved themselves? The answers to these questions indicate a measure of success or failure in life. To some families, success may mean finishing high school, staying off drugs, and keeping out of jail. To others, it may mean obtaining a college degree and advanced degrees along with meaningful careers in professional areas. No matter what degree of success one attains or achieves, it will take hard work and dedication. These elements are necessary in order to become successful in this world. Most people are not born with a silver spoon or the luxuries of life dropped into their laps. Some people who are born rich and live a life of privilege must also learn how to take care of their wealth and how to manage their lives in order to be successful. Life can seem easy or it can seem cruel. It is difficult to assess what a person goes through individually without walking in his shoes. Trials and problems beset everyone. How a person handles the problems determines the success or failure one enjoys in this life. If you are happy, you are successful. If you have a good marriage and good friends, you are successful. If you feel good about your job and your life, you are successful. Hard work and dedication are beneficial to everyone and can help a person become successful. When a person has achieved success and is able to help others, he becomes more successful. He becomes happier and more fulfilled as he finds purpose and success in his life. Success can be found in many areas and can mean different things.
