Too much sun can be hazardous for your skin's health and appearance. Sun damage (also called "photodamage") accounts for 90% of the changes we associate with aging skin: coarse wrinkles, brown spots, loss of elasticity, leathery texture, dullness, roughness, sallowness, easy bruising/fragility, and the development of skin cancers.

Sun Exposure is usually what damages the skin most. To protect your face from sun damage wear wide rimmed hat. Women should look for zinc oxide make-up as this is a great and effective sun block.Men should look for sunscreen contains zinc oxide which should be applied to the face, neck and other parts of your body that needs protection.

The results of exposure to these rays are particularly apparent on the face. They cause fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, textural changes, and frequently even cancer. In addition, the epidermis becomes thinner which allows the skin to blister, to tear, and to graze more easily. The skin also feels dry because it is less able to hold onto water.

Exposure to sun can not only cause dryness within the skin but can also cause wrinkles, fine lines and even spots of discoloration through the facial area. The rays of the sun should be avoided through the facial area to ensure that you are able to maintain a youthful appearance of the face.

Sun damaged skin needs to be well nourished. Improving your nutrient intake, without increasing your caloric intake, will make a huge difference in the way that you look and feel. Several studies indicate that an omega 3 supplement improves the skin's structure and firmness. Other nutrients, such as soy isoflavones, vitamin E, C and beta-carotene were combined with the omega 3 supplement in one study.

Most of us have felt the burning effect s of the sun after a day on the beach without adequate use of protective lotion or clothing but the sun can even damage our skin when it is hidden by clouds. Clouds may make it seem like the sun is safer to expose your skin to but they do not stop the harmful UV rays which is why its as important to take precautions of cloudy days even.

One of the highest quality natural ingredients found in whitening creams for sun damaged skin is extrapone nutgrass.Extrapone nutgrass will actually work to prevent the growth of melanin, which is the darkening pigment that makes the cells in your face look discolored.

To really repair sun damaged skin you'll need the help of proven anti-aging ingredients to reverse skin aging.
