A rebound relationship is where either you or your partner is still affected by the previous breakup. Somehow, it is not the best relationship in the world when one of you still harbor some resentment from the previous breakup. So, how to deal with a rebound relationship?

One of the effective ways is to be patient with your partner. If your partner is the one who is still affected from their previous relationship, they might be with you without full commitment. You should be patient and let them find out whether you are better and far more worthy than their ex.

Another way on how to deal with a rebound relationship is to open up your mind and try to see your partner as a unique individual. Try to find out all the good qualities of your partner that makes her special and learn to appreciate her.

Usually a rebound relationships do not last long if both parties do not contribute to make it work. One has to really let go and be over their past relationship before getting into a new one.

If you get into it without getting over your past hurt, then you are on a rebound relationship with your new partner. It does not last and will soon face another breakup.

If your ex-partner is the one in a rebound relationship after she has broken up with you, don't need to feel sad about it. Your ex probably is doing it to make you jealous as a sign that they still want you back. You should put yourself first and heal your wounds and then decide if you want to get back together with your ex.
