Everyone loves to be a center of attraction. Its human nature to look beautiful, and to be appraised for beauty. The hurdle between you and a beautiful face is acne. Acne makes you feel ugly and you lose confidence. You really want to get rid of acne over night. Hard to believe but it is a fact that your diet contributes to acne. Doctors do not agree that food triggers acne but latest research proves it.

As it is stated that you are what you eat, it sometimes works in case of acne. Latest reports on acne prove that acne is triggered by glucose in the body. Newer studies indicate that there is a correlation between glycemic index of food and acne. Glycemic index of food shows the speed and extent of increase in sugar level caused by its intake. There are many food items which have rich glycemic index and increase blood sugar as quickly as we eat them. The examples are white bread, white pasta, many other simple carbohydrate foods and sugar. The rapid increase in blood sugar after eating such food leads to a fast production of insulin and other hormones which stimulate the production of sebum and create inflammation of skin.

After reading these latest views you should avoid the food with high glycemic index and try to take a low glycemic index food which includes fruits, brown bread and green vegetables. Try to drink maximum water more than your desire because water purifies your inner system and helps excluding toxic material out of your body.
