Verbal Behavior. This is a recent updated version of ABA and stresses techniques to obtain verbalization from the child. TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication Handicapped Children) approaches autism with trying to enable success using their own strengths. Daily Life Therapy focuses on the physical, emotional and intellectual ability of the child enabling to successfully interact in groups and later in society. Relationship Development Intervention focuses on helping autistic children to share their life pleasures with others through interaction and develop emotional connectedness. In choosing a program or intervention know that many methods can be helpful. Research them making sure they are right for your child.
