Discolouring of teeth is a very common phenomenon. This discolouration happens primarily because of the aging process, consumption of coloured beverages like red wine, tobacco in any form, tea, coffee etc. There is little doubt that discoloured teeth can be a put off for people who you may meet for the first time. The ‘Teeth whitening strip' is another revolutionary dental care solution. You can procure them from any medical or drug store. These strips are made of plastic and get easily placed in your teeth. Traditionally, whitening strips took as much time as the guard trays. However, some of the improved ones take much lesser time. You will also come across some strips that dissolve in your mouth and do not have to be removed. 3. Whitening Pens
Another popular whitening treatment, ‘whitening pens' are easily available in the market. With these pens you can ‘paint' the whitening solution on to your teeth. Once painted, you have to wait till the solution dries out. You don't even have to take a rinse! 4. Laser Bleaching
Laser bleaching is usually carried out by dental professionals. The treatment employs the use of light to speed up the bleaching process. Dentists prefer to use the Argon laser light over the traditional Arc Lamp because the former does not emit any heat or ultraviolet rays like the arc lamp. Besides these four, there is another teeth whitening treatment called Internal Bleaching. Unlike the previous treatments, internal bleaching brightens the teeth from inside out. The process of internal bleaching involves placing of peroxide gel inside the tooth and sealing it. Over a period of time, the gel can be changed. This technique is a highly advanced dental procedure which can help to make your teeth shiny and bright.
