Diet can also help. A diet rich in protein and potassium can help support male sperm, whereas magnesium rich foods such as nuts, soya beans and leafy green vegetables are supportive of female sperm. In addition, eating a high calorie diet is more likely to produce a boy, where as a diet which contains no more than the recommended calorie intake for a woman's height will sway the odds slightly towards having a girl.
