Binge drinking is a national epidemic in the United States that affects us all. Not only does it regularly destory the lives of those who participate in it, it puts us all in danger: binge drinkers are 14 times more likely to drive intoxicated. That leads to real consequences: more than 10,000 fatalities due to drunk driving occur annually in the United States alone.
There's no question that for millions of people, binge drinking is addictive pattern. It's just not a sustainable way to live. Of course, you already know that- so what's holding you back? Is it the embarrassment of joining a AA 12-step program? Are you concerned about tarnishing your reputation in your community? Or the cost in time and money of stepping into a rehab facility?
In my studies of the rehabilitation options for those suffering from binge drinking, one service towers among the rest: It's known as the Self(s) Healing Experience (SHE), and it is by far the best way to stop binge drinking.
