The Excitement of Getting Married If you have been married or are planning on tying the knot soon, you know full well how exciting this time of your life can be. It seems that once you are engaged, time stops and the wedding day will never come because you just can’t wait. It’s a time that you will remember for the rest of your life and will certainly be some of the fondest moments you will remember looking back. Remember the ring shopping? This was a very exciting time because you both knew that the plan was to get married, even though you hadn’t already sealed the deal with an official confirmation. All that mattered was finding a ring that matched her every want and need. It didn’t matter how much the price was going to be, as long as she was happy. Granted, the price was probably in the back of your mind, but the main goal was that she picked something out that she loved. Don’t forget the time you had to talk with her Dad and ask for his blessing. You’re not the only one who was shaking in their boots, it was a nerve racking experience. How often does anyone ask permission to take their daughter off of their hands so you can marry her and start a new life? It’s a big question and you know he has years of memories and special moments with her. He didn’t want to let just anyone marry his Princess. The defining moment of your future was in the hands of your sweetheart when you got down on one knee to ask her one of the most important questions you will ever ask. Remember the look in her eyes as you kneeled down to ask her? I’m positive she can explain to you exactly how she felt. Not only was this moment important to you, it was probably one of the best moments of her life as well. Last but not least, the wedding day. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Dressed in white and looking her best, all for you. It was a day that was all about the two of you and celebrating the new life you were about to start. It doesn’t matter if this day was last week or thirty years ago, the memories remain with you as some of the best moments of your life. Getting married was certainly exciting!
