Since when there's internet, it is really used for everything: for work, for leisure, for finding information...you can find everything and you can actually use it for everything. You can check your bank account, buy airplane tickets, book hotels, you can find the train timetables and check if a flight is on time or late; and if all this isnot enough for you, well, you can even use it to play.

There are online games that involve various players in virtual challenges and others, instead, that do not require any special effort nor diligence, they just give you some minutes of fun and an enormous variety for your choice: for example, you'll find the super classical platform games like the world renowned Super Mario bros., that revive the games in which the protagonist has to face up to a series of enemies to reach the final fight; the football lovers, instead, can have fun wearing their favourite team shirt to play virtual football games; for those who prefer other sports, instead, no problem: you will be able to find surf, basketball, skateboard, ski, volleyball, jet ski, bowling, athletics and many others.

The online games surely help to find some minutes of relax, or to concentrate, finally, on something that has nothing to do with the daily routine; some games can even come out to be useful for the player's mind, like those of intelligence and logic, the crosswords, the Sudoku and more. Others help to improve the reflexes, lie the car races games or the adventure ones, the attention, like the strategy games, or the precision, think about the billiards, for example. Some scientists, in fact, say that videogames can have positive effects on the players' brain stimulation, because the stimulus in front of the visual messages of the images of the game is different from the one that come from the real life, hence the brain gets used to act in a different manner, reacting to situations that do not exist in the reality.

Lately there have been some attempts to give the videogames a social and pedagogical function, using the possibility of the internet to make different people play a game, transforming the game competitiveness into cooperation: the ONU, for example, launched an online game with the purpose of making young people sensitive about the construction of cities secure against natural calamities and disasters.

In short, it's a trunk filled with tons of games among which you can choose, to be opened every day to check the latest news that have been added, to get trained and beat from time to time your own records; a funny way, that can even turn out to be useful, to spend some time alone or to involve your friends in challenges to see who can obtain the highest score.
