There has been a great stir in the power of women folk throughout the world. Women have stopped peeping out from the curtain covers of their windows and have stepped out to experience the world all by themselves. They have devised a method of self-encouragement which gave them the strength to stand on their own feet and venture out into this outside world and learn the ways in which the world works. Of course, when women started working, the society was not at all friendly towards them, however they remained stubborn on their feet and hence it led us to witness this great generation of career-oriented women who have learnt to master the rules of the competitive world. The life of professional women is not so easy and considering this feature it is important to provide them a kind of support and guidance which will help them in the best way possible to thrive well in their professional front. With this in mind, the National Association of Professional Women was created to guide and support the women folk towards their career front.
It is really astounding to find that the National Association of Professional Women has achieved remarkable progress in just three years, when it was started by Matthew Proman in 2007 with its centre at the Garden City of New York. The association started with its beautiful motto Endless opportunities which truly outlines the real mission behind the establishment of such a great association. NAPW has been able to gain a wide coverage throughout America and has whopping memberships of more than 120,000 executive women throughout the nation which is a great achievement for an organization which began just three years ago.
The benefits of being a NAPW member are quite endless and provide women with several advantages than providing just a social network. NAPW has become a global platform for professional women folk to be a part of the association and exploit its various resources so as to gain the maximum from NAPW. The organization not only believes in bringing like-minded women to mingle with each other and have conversations on intellectual and personal level but also encourages gaining knowledge as a vital factor to be able to progress on the professional level and keeping this in mind NAPW launches various seminars, webinars and keynote speeches on a variety of topics so as to keep these women updated on the different happenings of the world.
Not only does NAPW concentrate on the development of the career-minded women, but it also focuses on the development of the upcoming women who would want a support in their college education. With this intention NAPW has launched the Rising Stars Educational Scholarship which has announced to donate $1000 to five women who are pursuing their college education. In all, NAPW does not only think about guiding professional women but also believes in creating a good women workforce for the future, which is the reason why the organization works keenly for the advancement of the professional women.
The way in which NAPW has been approaching the advancement of working women is definitely commendable and is surely visible in the success of the career-minded women.
