Skin blisters are a nuisance for the people that have it as well as those people around them as they are highly contagious. So whether you have a group of blisters anywhere on your body, don’t hesitate to consult your dermatologist straight away as delaying the problem can cause the blisters into turning nasty. These are sign of herpes virus which is fairly common.
These herpes are fairly common during early childhood and they can be spread through contact pretty easily. These usually conjure up small blisters appears on the lips, forms a crust and dries up after 8 to 10 days. The virus then becomes dormant in the nerve and can be reactivated by illness and high fevers, especially colds and sore throats. Dermatologist usually suggests antiseptic solution to counter this situation. These antibiotics prevent other germs from prolonging the cold sore and tackling the blisters.
The other thing is genital herpes which is usually contracted sexually. Blisters are painful, tender and highly infectious. People which are sexually active might be affected by it. The first infection is the worst with swollen glands and a temperature. Like all other viruses anti-virus creams cannot kill the virus completely. Anti-viral creams and lotions used immediately may shorten an attack. All attacks of genital herpes are infectious so sufferers should avoid having sex during attacks. Using protection during sex can lessen the risk of infection. Occurrence of genital herpes during pregnancy can be very serious as an infected mother can pass on the infection to her baby
