Understanding the secret to law of attraction and how it works seems simple enough, but as you have likely discovered, figuring out how to make the law of attraction work for you can often feel incredibly complex. How many times have you thought you were on the right track, became very focused and specific with
requests you make to the Universe, and followed the manifestation process explicitly as described by the law of attraction and self help gurus?
Yet, if you are like most people your results are disappointing, to say the least. All that effort and still nothing, nada. You are left looking at results you do not want and wondering what you must be doing wrong.
So you will no doubt find it quite interesting to to hear what I came across recently when reading the book "What God Wants" by Neale Donald Walsch. You
will find it interesting because the answer to your questions about what you are doing wrong is sitting right there in the book, waiting to be discovered.
"When you ask for something, you are announcing you do not have it."
(Neale Donald Walsch, What God Wants)
Think about that statement, particularly within the context of using law of attraction. How often do you express what you desire in the form of a request?
If you are like most people, your answer is most of the time. So perhaps therein lies the answer to the question -- stop expressing what you want as a request.
This is essential because asking for something is the same as saying you do not have it. It has been said many times that the language you use with yourself
has everything to do with the level of success you achieve. If you accept for a moment what Walsch says as true, then consider the true meaning behind these
requests:
When you say "Please give me the strength" are you really declaring you don't have the strength?
When you say "Please help me find a solution" are you really declaring you don't have a solution?
When you say "Please help me find a job" are you really declaring you can't find a job?
When you say "Please help me be more loving" are you really declaring you are not loving?
When you say "Please help me find the courage" are you really declaring you do not have the courage?
When you say "Please help me find the money" are you really declaring you do not have the money?
When you say "Please help me find the answer" are you really declaring you cannot find the answer?
When you say "Please give me clarity" are you really declaring you do not have clarity?
Walsch goes on to say in his book that to declare you do not have something is the same as denying it from yourself ... and that you cannot have that which you
deny. Consider then the vibrational alignment -- or to be more accurate the vibrational mis-alignment -- with what you are wanting and what you are in fact saying to the Universe; they are literally polar opposites! No wonder what we are doing is not working.
The solution then is to stop asking and start directing. This is how affirmations can become such a powerful manifestation tool for you to put to use in your life. You use affirmations as a way to start declaring rather than
requesting.
"I have the strength."
"I have the solution."
"I have the job."
"I am more loving."
"I have the courage."
"I have the money."
"I have the answer."
"I have clarity."
Notice how different you feel when repeating these statements as opposed to when you frame them as a request ... because the difference is very significant. And the alignment with what you want to attract is much, much stronger.
If you believe that we are all one with the Universe and that we are all interconnected, then you already have everything and anything you could possible desire. All that is left is to summon it with a clear directive that declares you already have it -- and to then allow the inspired answers and solutions to come to you. That is the secret to understanding law of attraction and how it
works.
