Wheels

I resonantly started to use Polyurethane wheels as I had been having a number of problems using my Air filled wheels. The main problem being with my old wheels was that I was having to lean the truck by the end of each day due to the air going down more in one wheel.

So I did a bit of research and looked into all the different types of wheels that I could use and the benefits of each. I discovered that I could use solid wheels. The good thing about these solid wheels was that they wouldn’t leak air like my air filled ones where because they held no air. However I read that these wheels where very unforgiving on the surfaces which they where used on and as I am using my sack truck in other peoples properties and my brand new van I didn’t think these were very suitable.

I then discovered the option of having cellular foam filled tyres. This was a tyre filled with just foam and you could apparently run this tyre down until you were just pushing the truck on the metal of the wheel.

But when I seen the Polyurethane wheels they did all the benefits mentioned such as being puncture proof, easier on surfaces, long time of use and also the fact that they ride like air filled tyres means using the sack truck on steps is made easier. So if anyone asks me now about what to use I would always suggest the Polyurethane wheel.
