The warm weather makes sweating worse for everyone.  But for those who suffer fromexcessive underarm sweating, things can seem to get out of control.  Don't worry, there are some things you can do to help.

Dealing with underarm sweat starts from the very beginning of your day. When you take a shower or bath you should be using deodorant soap. Especially in the areas that you are concerned with sweat.

While you are in the shower it is a good time to rid your body of hair. Hair traps moisture. The trapped moisture causes your problems with wetness. And, yes, this trapped moisture also creates the perfect environment for body odor. If you are uncomfortable removing all body hair, you should remove as much as possible.

Once out of the shower, dry your body completely. You will need to use antiperspirant-deodorant. There is a deodorant that is specifically for those with excessive underarm sweating. These antiperspirant-deodorants contain 20 percent aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex. This is the highest amount you can purchase over the counter. This should be a big help. If not, contact your doctor about a higher amount.

Dust your body lightly with powder. It is useful to carry the antiperspirant-deodorant and the powder with your throughout your day. This way, you can reapply as needed throughout your day.

If you want to impress, it is wise to wear an undershirt to your destination. This way you can keep cool and put on your dress shirt when you arrive. Make sure your underarms are dry before you put on your final shirt.

It is also a good idea to learn some relaxation techniques. Deep breathing sometimes works to relieve stress. Stress can make your excessive underarm sweating problems worse. Learning how to relax and de-stress can be an important part of your overall efforts to stay dry.
