Hair loss is a problem that most people face after a certain age. Often the cause of hair loss is stress and improper diet. Treatment for hair loss does not solely lie with using hair loss creams, but with an overall approach that checks every aspect of the problem. Here is a look at some points on hair loss treatment:

  • Green tea can help control hair loss by regulating the production of DHT which can cause hair loss. You should have it three times a day to control DHT and reduce hair fall.

  • Daily diet should include fresh fruits, nuts and vegetables. It is necessary to cut back on caffeine, soda and red meat since such foods can aggravate hair loss problems. Including pumpkin seeds and almonds help to promote hair growth.

  • Stress is one of the primary causes for hair loss. Reduce stress by keeping away from situations that aggravate it. Doing yoga and meditation can help to bring down stress levels considerably.

  • Lack of sleep is yet another common cause for hair loss. Long working hours and stressful work timings can deprive you out of that much needed sleep. Try to get about 8 hours of sleep time everyday.

  • Massage you scalp everyday for 15 minutes. This will stimulate blood circulation and prevent hair loss. Begin at the temples and move your way through the scalp to carry out the massage.

  • Yet another way is hair transplant through which tiny plugs of hair form a region that has good hair growth is moved to the bald area of the head. Multiple sessions are involved and the transplanted hair is expected to grow.

  • Regular use of hair loss products formulated for hair loss treatment, as recommended by physicians is also known to reduce the problem. However, the outcome varies from person to person.
