They could be different reasons for eyebrow hair loss. Over-plucking and rough or harsh plucking of eyebrows could lead to eyebrow hair loss. You will never look your best if your eyebrows are thinning or non-existent, despite your great looking makeup. If you use this guide you will be able to fill in your eyebrows for a perfect day or night time look. Whether your eyebrows thin naturally or because of illness or external trauma you can't be blamed for becoming alarmed at your changing appearance.

The fact is that there are many ways that you can try to get eyebrow hair growth, but it is unlikely that you will find a solution that will work fast or effectively. The problem is that for most people, the cause of eyebrow hair loss is that of an autoimmune disease. The condition is called Alopecia Areata and it can affect the eyebrow hair

The treatment depends on the cause and once diagnosed can be treated well. Hair transplants can be done on women in selected cases. Before going in for surgery, you should meet a dermatologist and find the cause for the hair loss and treat it. Surgery may be unnecessary. In the meantime a balanced diet and restful sleep will help to solve the problem to some extent.

Once the underlying factors have been addressed you can move on to deciding on a temporary or permanent solution. If you have suffered partial eyebrow loss you may be a suitable candidate for attempting eyebrow regrowth treatment. This may involve applying a topical solution such as the well known hair regeneration product Rogaine. Eyebrow hair grows more slowly than scalp hair, so it is going to be quite some time, say 8 to 10 weeks, before any real noticeable growth is going to be present.

Tattooing of the lost or thin eyebrow is a very common technique that is simple and quick to do with an immediate result. Unfortunately, eyebrow tattoos often look very unnatural with less than ideal color matches. Over time the tattoo often fades, turning into a blue-black color which is an even poorer color match. Eyebrow tattoos are not easily removed and I usually advise against it. It is better to do hair transplants right into the tattooed skin.

Incorporating regular aerobic exercise into your lifestyle can maintain overall health and lower stress, in addition to keeping androgen levels naturally lower which can aid in keeping hair from falling out unnecessarily. Stress reduction can be very helpful when it comes to slowing down hair loss.
