Women say "I like a man who is a good listener" and they choose a man who totally dominates the conversation. They will say "My man must have a good sense of humour" and they go for the guy with the huge salary. Why do women do that? Go for the opposite of what they say. The answer lies in their subconscious mind. And from this we get the best relationship advice for men. The biological reason we get together is the keep the human race going. It's imprinted in our DNA. Even if the last thing on a woman’s mind is getting pregnant, on a subconscious level she is looking for a great dad to father her children. Is a great dad someone who listens to her? No, it's a guy who can provide for her and her children. And the person who can provide is the guy who consistently brings home the bacon. Women need providers. While men can keep producing offspring well into their 90's a woman has a limited number of chances to have children. And because of this they look for a man who can provide for her and her babies in the long term. A man who tells a woman he is a lawyer and not a paralegal will have a better chance of a relationship with her. She subconsciously sees the lawyer as a better long term provider. A good income alone is not enough. She needs to see that the man is generous enough to provide for her and her children in the long term. For this reason, women see expensive gifts as a good indicator. They see you as a giver, a provider. When you propose to your lover, tradition dictates you give her a ring. But tradition apart this is a show you can provide for her. Even though we as modern humans make most of our money from our brains as opposed to our brawn, women still think of the big strong guy being the better provider. That's probably why some guys with huge pay checks still lose out to the big brawny guys on low wages. So your task is to figure out what your woman wants from an evolutionary standpoint and give her that very thing. This is your best bit of relationship advice.
