There comes a time in everyone's life when he/she needs to truly think about their existence. What is one's purpose in this world? That remains to be the question of all questions that you yourself need to answer. It's been said that the meaning of life is to give life meaning. What gives your life meaning? Is it working in a hospital and helping people on daily basis? Is it being a police officer and protecting our citizens and those who cannot protect themselves? Regardless, there is one constant in life... at least in my life. I don't ache to walk my own path, but by the path that God has laid out for me. Now, this is not for all. I do not by any means look down upon those who do not share my spiritual beliefs, nor do I try to shove my thoughts and beliefs down the throats of any non-believers. I will, however, gladly speak to those who show an interest in God's word, want to learn more, and truly want to find the meaning of spiritual healing and the igniting of divine intervention. Some will argue that God doesn't exist. A guy at my gym recently stated, "there's no magical man in the sky. God is a myth. The world was created by The Big Bang Theory." Now, to reiterate a previous point: I did not sit there and argue with him over his beliefs, no matter how strongly I disagreed. I simply walked away. To each his own, I say. In my next installment, I will lay out an actual event that changed my life, opened my eyes to Christ, and (not that I needed it) provided physical proof that God truly is omnipresent not only in this world, but in the universe, in my mind, and in my heart.
