Finding natural remedies for acne blemishes can be extremely important to many people. Lots people are very self-conscious since they have to walk around with a face that is plastered with tiny zits or blemishes that are reddish in color. I know how bad it feels to have acne since I had a very bad case of acne as a teenager and also later on as a young adult. I will outline a couple of methods that have been proven by others to work wonderfully.

1. Taking zinc in the form of capsules to deal with your acne :

Make a trip to your local pharmacy and purchase a bottle of zinc in the capsule form. You can also find zinc capsules in health food stores. Make sure that you follow the directions closely that should be written on the label of the bottle.

Zinc seems to aid the immune system and to repair any skin problems in general. When your immune system is working well it will readily attack the bacteria that is contained within your average pimple.

2. Try drinking lots of water since this will help to reduce your acne problem :

When you are dehydrated, it is very difficult for your body wash out toxins such as invading bacteria. Since acne contains bacteria, if you were to greatly increase the amount of water that you are consuming daily, your body will automatically flush out the toxins that are trapped within your pimples and zits.

You should also consume fruits and vegetables because this change in diet will actually improve your complexion in general. For instance, if you have a lot of redness because of your pimples and zits, you should notice a reduction in this discoloration if you were to consume lots a green-leafed vegetables on a daily basis.
