How long do sexless marriages last? The answer may surprise you...

If you feel your marriage is in trouble the first thing you wanted to is to schedule an appointment to go see a marriage counselor. It is important that you keep an open line of communication with your spouse so you know how they feel. It is never too late to fix any issue you may have in your marriage. Both of you need to have a desire to save your marriage and this is the only way they can be fixed. Going to counseling can help you open up so that you can discuss what issues you are having. Having a good marriage is not always easy but getting help can can make it easier.

Learning that your spouse had an affair is indeed painful and makes you feel victimized. It causes suffering not only for you but for your children as well. Trying to revive an affair-stricken marriage is one of the hardest things you will ever do. It takes courage on the part of the cheated spouse and time to heal the wounds caused by the affair.

Married couples are not always open to the idea of counseling when their relationship becomes rocky. Some of them believe they know themselves better than to seek a third party advice. When I got married I believed that relationships built on a Christian foundation were stronger and less likely to fail. While I still believe this to be true the reality is that a Christian couple faces the same marital trials and tribulations and hardships as any other couple.
