If you were to look up the definition of abundance you will see several meanings:
1. An extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply.
2. Overflowing fullness
3. Affluence; wealth
The most common misconception of abundance is that it only involves having a lot of money. However, a TRUE life of abundance involves wealth in ALL areas of your life: finances, health, relationships, spirituality, social, emotional, etc.
People who are under the misconception of abundance being only about finances wind up pursuing riches in the terms of money and when they succeed in getting it, wonder why despite their large bank account why they still feel so empty inside and so unhappy.
This is because their lives remain unbalanced in all the other areas. They fail to understand that abundance is a mindset. Abundance is an illustration of what you have in your head and in your heart, not in your hand.
A person living in true abundance gives of herself selflessly. She is connected to the love that she is and she shares it with the world without wanting anything in return. As a result, she attracts positive, fulfilling, HEALTHY relationships in her life where the people involved share their gifts with one another and help contribute positively to one another's lives.
A person living in true abundance sees his body as a temple and in turn treats it as such. He engages in behaviour that helps to keep his temple vibrant, strong and youthful. He makes sure to eat the proper food that nourishes his body, he exercises regularly, doesn't poison his body with drugs and other harmful substances, gets enough rest, etc. As a result, he reaps the benefits of being consistently healthy, vibrant and youthful.
A person living a spiritually abundant life strives to consistently be connected to his Source, the Creator. He regularly engages in activities like prayer, meditation and associates with like-minded people with the same objectives in order to strengthen and maintain his connection. As a result, over a time due to this connection, he develops faith where he's able to surrender to the Creator and allow the Creator to work through him in manifesting abundance in his life, with total detachment to the outcome.
A person living in true abundance has a wealth of ideas, whether it is a business idea, and idea for a book, an invention, etc any of which acted upon will make him wealthy.
A person living in financial abundance not only has enough money to supply all his needs, but it is overflowing so that he has more than he needs. Thus, the sign of a truly financially abundant person is one that not only enriches himself, but uses his overflowing supply to enrich the lives of others and provide value on this earth.
When a person has a FULL understanding of the laws of manifesting abundance, he is able to have an abundant life in ALL areas of his life, not just one or two.
