There are so many fat burning tips and tricks you can get from books, friends, infomercials, CDs and the internet that they sometimes tend to conflict with one another. But all these tips boil down on two things and these are diet and exercise.
Here are some easy fat burning tips and tricks that will not let you worry too much about following:
Lessen your carbohydrate intake especially if you are not much into exercise and sit at the office most of the day. The carbohydrates that you did not burn will turn into fat, so minimize your carbs and eat only those carbs that are fat burning and have high fiber content like whole grain foods.
Avoid carbonated drinks, since these have high sugar content and will cause you to gain pounds instead of losing it. A good alternative is green tea, which is a good weight buster as well as a detoxifying agent. It increases the body's metabolism as well as flushes out the toxins in the body through urine. If you do not like the taste of green tea, you can combine it with natural juices like apple and lemon.
Cardio exercises are fat busters so they are great for reducing weight plus, they are easy to perform and don't need any special equipment. These exercises are as simple as walking, running, jogging, jumping ropes, to name a few and you can even do this any time of the day. Climbing the stairs is a good cardio exercise as well, and so is uphill walking or hiking.
What is more, foods that are high in good cholesterol and lean proteins are good for losing weight and reducing cholesterol levels. They also help in building muscles if you are into body building. The best lean protein sources are turkey meat and skinless chicken meat as well as fish and beans. Nuts and fish are good sources of HDL too. And more importantly, eat broiled, baked or grilled foods and avoid fried ones.
Avoid junk food and fast food because they are rich sources of bad cholesterol; meat extenders, as well as salt. Try to prepare your own meal instead, using fresh ingredients and dry spices, or if you want a quick snack, have a piece or two of fruits like apples and berries. Also avoid alcoholic drinks because alcohol is bad for the liver and if it is not fully detoxified, it can be stored in the body as fats.
Eat in small frequent feedings instead of missing meals. Skipping meals will make you hungry and the craving might induce you into binge eating. Small frequent meals are easier to digest and you avoid cravings while giving you a constant supply of energy if you have an active lifestyle. This is important especially if you are diabetic or prediabetic, where your body has a hypersensitivity to fluctuations in blood glucose levels.
Your goal should be realistic and attainable, otherwise you will be discouraged and quit, or worse, get back to unhealthy lifestyle where you gain back the pounds and inches you have lost. These fat burning tips and tricks are easy to follow and help you get nearer to your goal.
