Christian treatment facilities have the ability to emphasize the increasing popularity and growth that they are experiencing. They do this in view of the fact that there are many addicts out in the world that need their help and need it badly. In these faith based centers, the addict gets his or her hands on the pure Word of God without any inclination to be persuaded to choose religions. The centers try to initiate a relationship with God first. Church and religion have their own perspective in the world, but for the treatment, a relationship with God is the more ideal choice.

Christian drug rehab centers present a much more philosophical advance to life and the actuality that no one is an island and that we all need God to exist in a world that is imperfect. If the person who is addicted can realize the importance of God and the part that he plays in everyone's life, then they will be able to embrace a relationship with him. This is not about the church that you choose to go to, but it is about giving over your heart to a God who understands the heart more than anyone else.

The Christian treatment centers have staff members who play the role of advocates and ambassadors for Christ. They are put here on earth to make sure that addicts and other people who are troubled can get a fair hearing and a heart that is God centered. The addict who experiences comfort and is ease during treatment is the person that, more than likely, will succeed in the recovery process. It is unrealistic to believe that someone who is not committed to treatment will experience any success. The individual has to have a desire for change. The person has to be open to hearing the Word of God and embrace forgiveness.

No one will be able to go through a faith based treatment with preconceived notions of religious affiliations because it will make them skeptical. Faith based means that the center bases its foundation on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Penelope was not a Christian. She did not know anything about God and so when she came to one of the best Christian treatment centers in her local area, she was open to anything. However, at first, she thought that she would be forced to engage in religious practices that offered her to make a choice, which she did not think was appropriate.

She had to be educated about the program to be able to understand that this was not the case.  She had to hear stories of success from the staff to be convinced that this was what they claimed it to be. She also listened to the many testimonies that came through that talked about the success rate that the center enjoyed.

Penelope listened with interest until she realized that their only focus was to get her well using a unique method that others refused to try.
