The end of the first trimester allows the pregnant mother to feel much better about the significantly reduced risk of miscarriage. For the start of the second trimester, pregnant mothers will be experiencing discomfort and pain due to your baby’s rapid growth and feelings of discomfort and pain as your body adjusts to this growth . These pains can be alarming but are mostly harmless. If you are 14 weeks pregnant, you must realize that this is the best time for you to exercise. Exercising can help pregnant mothers prepare their body for expansion and rapid growth of baby. Moreover, exercising is most advisable during week 14 since hints of miscarriages are now in a blur. This is why the second trimester is known to provide more energy for exercise than the first trimester.

So what kinds of exercise can best fit mother who are 14 weeks pregnant?  Logically, heavy weights should not be recommended to you and will never be used during this stage and through out the pregnancy. Moreover, exercises that require you to lay on your back is not recommended since it furthers the pressure on the spine and the vena cava. You may find yourself bloated and larger this week but diet pills are not advisable for you. Any type of exercise that gears with a slow start and can be developed into a routine let a physician run the exercise first before embarking on it.

On the 14th week of pregnancy, the baby starts to feed on the placenta. The mother should now avoid toxins from cleaning materials that may tend to seep into the skin and harm the baby inside. Moreover, you should be aware of other diseases like Toxoplasmosis which is transmitted to cat feces. If you are pregnant, it is recommended that you do away with your pet cat because the effects of the disease to your baby are significant. As you endure your being 14 weeks pregnant, you also have to endure hassles of constipation which can be eased by including fruits and vegetables in your diet. Make water your best ally in your fight against constipation. If not addressed at once, constipation may lead to severe hemorrhoids.

Pregnancy week 15 marks significant growth for you and your baby inside. Your physician can now measure your baby’s fundal height which is the distance from the top of the uterus to the pelvic bone. This kind of measurement is corresponding to the pregnancy week and aids in the reaffirmation of your due date. Most common pregnancy symptoms which are dominant during this week include excessive salivation, colds and stuffy nose. The relaxed walls of the uterus can also cause the mother to experience urinary tract infection. To know if you have this infection is to identify signs like burning sensation when urinating, vomiting and lower back pain. To counter UTI on pregnancy week 15, consult a physician for safe medicines that could alleviate the infection.

Noticeable changes in your body and in your baby marks the beginning of the second trimester. Gear up for more essential developments as you track your pregnancy week by week.
